Markets in Saint Martin de Ré

On the harbor, the covered market in Saint Martin showcases local producers and seasonal products every morning from April to November. In July and August, the stalls are also open in the afternoons from 5 to 8 p.m., and each evening a bustling night market awaits you.

Markets in Sainte Marie de Ré

In a lively atmosphere, two markets are open every day of the year (except Mondays outside peak season), one in the beautiful Place d’Antioche and the other under the lime trees of the square by the same name. Each offers fresh local produce as well as crafts and clothing in high season.

Markets in Saint Clément des Baleines

In the friendly atmosphere of the center, sea asparagus and seafood products sit alongside local vegetables. The food market welcomes you each morning from April and throughout the summer. In May and June, it is held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In July and August, non-perishable goods are also available.

Markets in Rivedoux Plage

Under the central market hall in the village, local Île de Ré producers offer tempting seasonal products. Depending on the month, market days vary but the market becomes daily in the summer season. From April to September, artisans and various vendors also set up by the seaside.

Markets in Ars-en-Ré

All year round, one of the largest markets on the island offers local products, clothing, and various accessories. From Easter to All Saints’ holidays, it is held daily at the port. Off-season, market days change, and it takes place at the Church Square.

Markets in Les Portes-en-Ré

This is the village's friendly meeting point, perfect for a stroll. Every morning in summer and during school holidays, locals and tourists gather here. Stalls featuring local products, clothing, and jewelry can also be found on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the off-season.

Markets in Loix

A blend of the island's typical flavors, craftsmanship, and local art, this is one of the most beloved markets. Located in the village square, it operates daily in July-August and during the Easter, All Saints’, and winter holidays. Off-season, food stalls are open on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Markets in La Flotte

In their wooden stalls, vendors welcome you year-round in a medieval setting. The charm of this market also lies in the quality of fresh products offered. In summer, enjoy the daily evening market on Cours Félix Faure and the clearance sales on the third Thursdays of July and August.

Markets in La Couarde

Fish, produce, butcher, caterer, flowers, textiles, souvenirs—you’ll find everything in the village’s two markets. One is in the central square, the other at Mail, both open daily in summer and during school holidays. Quality is guaranteed, and producers are always ready to offer advice.

Markets in Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré

In addition to traditional market goods, you'll find regional specialties, cheese, and fine foods. Every morning from April to October and four times a week the rest of the year, over a hundred merchants liven up the island's largest market, located on Rue de la Glacière.
